- DADominica Augustyn3 days ago1.0Called to make an apt as a new client. Receptionist was rude from the start. I asked about exam fees she told me 25 and after proceeded to tell me prices triple after first visit. I wanted to make a regular exam for my dog to be seen and established. I mentioned him drinking a lot of water and before I could even finish she got rude and said “this is not a regular exam that would be a sick visit” I told her she was very rude and hung up. I would never bring my animals there. The receptionist sets the vibes for your office and with that attitude id rather go else where. For the record, drinking a lot of water is NOT a sick visit. My dog is now only eating dry food and heat increases in my house I simply wanted to confirm this was a factor to the change since it happened as soon as these changes occurred.

These two have never once shown impatience with his anxiety during visits. Dr. Boyce and Alexis are always willing to help, and they genuinely care about my dog’s well-being — and it does not go unnoticed. Everyone at Plainfield Animal Hospital is amazing, especially the front desk ladies, but Dr. Boyce and Alexis are truly my lifeline. For example, Saige constantly struggles with stomach issues, and recently he had an abrupt stomach upset. I was supposed to call and schedule an in-person appointment, but I convinced myself to just let it pass. Today, Alexis called me on her own, genuinely wanting to know how he was doing. That level of care is rare. I love this team. I don’t know where Saige and I would be without them. I highly recommend Plainfield Animal Hospital to any pet parent who is as dedicated as I am — because this hospital reciprocates that same level of care.

They also said bc she's a german shepherd- they might have to sedate her to examine her safely- that would also be at an additional charge... I'm sorry - aren't these professionals? I offered to muzzle her - to put them at ease... This place is an absolute joke- Pls stay away if you value your dollar.

From easily making an appointment, to checking in and being taken in on time! to the most wonderful, gentle, clearly animal loving knowledgeable staff! The intake technician was simply amazing - she’s going to school to become veterinary tech and she already is! Doctor was very attentive and talked to me about what our elderly ailing dog needs and what vaccines are no longer advisable. Such a caring approach, different from other places where they just want to take your money! Recommend this place wholeheartedly for all your pets, big and small!
