Our dog was attacked by another dog this weekend. Animerge took great care of him and the prices were reasonable for an emergency vet visit. They were kind, efficient, and took care of post-op necessities like bandage changes for free. Hopefully we won't have to return, but if something happens to my animals again, I would definitely choose Animerge!

I took my dog to the emergency vet to get help for my poor little girl, and the entire experience was heartbreaking. First of all, they wouldn’t even let me go in with her — which was horrifying. My little girl has been by my side for 14 years; she’s never been without me. To imagine her scared, not feeling well, and taken away from me like that just broke my heart.
After giving her the medication she needed, they sat us down and presented an outrageous estimate — over $10,000 just to keep her alive. Before we even went, I had spoken with my regular vet. He told me exactly what to ask for and what my dog needed. He also specifically advised me never to leave any of my dogs overnight at a hospital unless it was absolutely crucial. I trusted his judgment — and I knew in my heart my girl would be okay with the right care.
But the emergency clinic tried to guilt and scare us, saying that if we didn’t leave her there, she would die. Shame on them. It’s devastating to see what so many of these vet hospitals are becoming — businesses more focused on money than compassion. They take advantage of pet owners when we’re at our most vulnerable, knowing how deeply we love our animals, and then pressure us into debt with fear tactics.
It’s disgusting and heartbreaking to see. Our pets deserve genuine care — not manipulation. And pet owners deserve honesty and compassion, not financial exploitation in our moments of panic and pain!!!

We seem to be frequent flyers here with our older animals. Dr. Guy and her team are very compassionate and don't run up the bill like some other places who take advantage on your situation. I truly trust them with my boys.

Two stars because the staff is generally sweet. Money mongers, but it’s not news these places prey on love. Brought my dog in with a fish hook in the back of her tongue. It was absolutely there, I tried getting it out myself, felt it, saw it, it wasn’t going anywhere. Staff said,”how certain are you it’s in her tongue? We can’t see it. We need to do x rays to locate it.” I asked what they’d do if they found it in an x ray in her tongue?” Sedate her and remove it they say, but we can’t see it and sedation sometimes makes them more aggressive. Ok? For probably an hour I sat anxiously waiting to hear worst case scenario that my dog had swallowed the hook. Did x rays, hook was in the tongue, of course it was. I felt like my fears were absolutely preyed on and I was gaslit to believe she could have swallowed the hook even against my certainties that she had not. How was this rectified? They sedated her and cut the hook out. I knew bringing her to the ER would be a hefty bill, but I’m disappointed that I was unable to advocate for my dog and my personal finances and gaslit into unnecessary x rays. God bless the USA and predatory capitalism.

Disclaimer, I did not actually take my cat here.
BUT I did have a full 15-minute conversation over the phone with someone super helpful with answering questions and giving advice.
My cat had (what I think is) an abscess that ruptured with bloody pus, and we talked through every little detail, and she gave specifics next steps and possible options for me and my pet.
She also recommended what to look out for and even provided suggestions for other local ER locations should his condition worsen.
I was just amazed that this place genuinely did put my pet first, without pressuring me for potential business. Thank you!
