- ABAmanda BreaudMar 14, 20265.0I didn’t get any names but the girls that were working in grooming on Friday the 13th around 3pm when I picked up my dog, deserve a huge shout out. Not only were they extremely busy, they remained friendly and kind with all customers who were dropping off/picking up while a woman was yelling at them about add on services. It seemed she had chosen a tier of service that didn’t include the items and services she thought she paid for and that her dog was severely matted and had to be shaved and the person who dropped her dog off signed off on it. The customer was loud and rude even after the staff explained repeatedly and even offered to remove the charge this time. I have been in customer service my entire working career and I would hire any and all of the staff that worked that shift. They handled that situation with poise and respect despite not having any respect shown to them. I am writing this review in hopes that petco managers (& higher ups) recognize these employees for their exceptional service.

I even offered to pay extra and get the rabie vaccine if available but was told no can do. My dog doesn't have rabies and my pug doesn't bite of course but I understand. There policy is what they follow. Sadly when im pist at a situation and me being a petco member for over 11 years. I have to put my rating as follow. Nice staff but this one is for the policy because if it were a dog that they rescued off the streets, im sure they would have bathed it and all gave it shots after.
