  Very bad experience, first of all they don't have items what we need and the employee forgot given the receipt and the store manager Aiza refused to return or exchange the fish food. I would recommend to go to petsmart rather than go to petco. More cheaper and more availability.

  My parents had taken both of my dogs to be groomed and it had taken a bit longer than usual along with my dog coming back petrified of being in that place with her tail between her legs which she does she she gets yelled at. i’m aware that the girls that have groomed them that day where most likely not very good with their job along with many other reviews having complaints on how dogs have came back the same way or worse. along with that they had also came back with getting kettle cough. this store is disgusting with the way they treat animals and obviously do not have a clean environment and not taking into consideration what animals could have what and just not having proper care like they should have.

  I went into the Piscataway store today to purchase some canned dogfood. I wanted to ask some questions but there wasn't a sales person anywhere. I chose something and headed to checkout. The register was unattended. I waited a while, no one came so I stood near the middle and started yelling for someone to come help. I went back to the register, a line of 3 or 4 formed after me. I was ready to just leave when a man came up to help. I don't know if he was the only employee or what the issue was but I will hesitate to go back there.

  Not customer focused or accommodating. First, their grooming isn't the greatest, I often get my baby back with an uneven coat. My main issue - I've scheduled a grooming appointment 3-4 weeks out and received texts reminding me of my appointment weekly, all the way to the night before. Day of the appointment, I'm told the groomer is sick, nothing they can do about it. I get that people get sick, but can nothing be switched, can not one stay later, offer a discount for next time - anything to show you recognize having really let the customer down? Nadal! I get an offer to have him done the folding week on my birthday. Time to find another location.

  Swung by this place (first time at a Petco) being a non-pet customer to get a bird feeder. Was pleasantly surprised to see some pets like guinea pigs, mice, parakeets, fishes and even chameleons on sale and their enclosures were fairly well maintained. They have a huge shop with so many pet needs and pet grooming salons. My kid had a fun time thinking he was at a zoo. The parking is huge as it’s attached to a common shopping plaza.
