- ULUlyana Lyana3 days ago1.0I usually never leave bad reviews, but this time I simply cannot stay silent. If you ever consider bringing your dog here for grooming, bathing, or nail trimming, my honest advice is: do NOT go to this Petco. A couple of days ago, I brought my dogs in. After about two hours, I received a text saying they were ready for pickup. When I was already two minutes away, they suddenly called to tell me that my Golden Retriever had been taken to the Emergency Hospital because he was bleeding. I was shocked. When I arrived, my first question was why they didn’t call me before taking him to the ER. Noah S., the person who trimmed his nails, responded with a smirk on his face, saying he “did” call me. I told him he only called after my dog was already in the emergency room. I rushed to the hospital, and when I saw my dog covered in blood, with a bump on his head, and all of his nails cut down to the quick, I was horrified. Afterward, I took him to my own veterinarian, and the woman who transported him from Petco went with me. They did cover all the expenses — but that does not undo what happened. I will NEVER bring my pets here again, and I strongly advise others to stay away. Please be careful.
