Had an appointment scheduled for my cat but was told it had been cancelled the morning of as I walked into their office. I had not received calls or a voicemail telling me it was cancelled. I had even received texts during the week that my appointment was confirmed.

I don't normally leave reviews. However I absolutely must spread the word on such a phenomenal care team at Bandfield Metuchen. Nurse Fallon was exceptional on taking the time to Inform us expertly of every step. She expressed genuine concern and care. Which is very rare these days. She immediately made us feel comfortable and heard. The medical care our Harvey received from the Doctor was top notch. And checking in and checking out by staff was a great experience. The entire experience was great

We have taken our dog twice to have an infection cleared up but unfortunately it has yet to be resolved so I called to refill our prescription for the antibiotics and was told that they do not have the medicine that was given on file and I would have to go in again with my dog. I was complaining that I felt this was unacceptable that I would have to go a third time for the same issue and was hung up on. Service here continues to be poor as in the past I have called to refill my prescription on their voicemail with nobody calling me back and when I call to follow up nothing has been refilled. The lack of professionalism and customer service have led me to look for another vet in the area.

I had to take my new dog to a vet. My daughter use to bring her dog here and I was always impressed how thorough, detailed, & most of all Courteous! (Which in today’s world, we do not get much of). The place is immaculate, and the Staff is so accommodating and patient . Meanwhile iou have all different types of dogs coming through and somehow they all keep their cool. The doctors are well educated(so many different types of dogs), how does one remember? Not only do they take time out to explain to you about your dog, but it is a simple education at that, also. I have been to vets, I found a few to be rude, did not want to help, especially in a bad time. All they wanted to know if you had pet insurance, making you sign a bunch of papers if your dog bites anyone on the staff. I thought that was their job to know if a dog gets aggressive, then you put a muzzle on it. Simple! But not there. They said it is not humane. Honestly, when you operate on a person, you sedate them, correct? So what makes them think a dog is going to allow you to probe areas that might be painful! I had to walk out of two veterinarians in my area. My dog, Trixie, had a bad ear infection. I had gotten her from a shelter, so I was not too well informed. But if I would of read the paperwork better, she had this problem before she came. But still, it looked as if it was corrected. Well, by the time that poor doctor got done with her, she looked tired. She had to go deep into her ear canals. She packed it with medicine. And then she said, “She doesn’t let you touch her, does she?” Meaning her ears. I said that is correct. That is why she packed them. Thank you doctor. And thank you to all the doctors and staff that called me and left me detailed messages. Wow! I was put at ease. I was also told things I forgot to ask, but they covered it all! The staff is great! My hat goes off to Banfield! I would and will tell others about them, and feel very confident in doing so. My rating is:175%
