Brought my cat in because she will not longer chew her food. This vet barely looked in her mouth & was quick to push me into doing blood work. Initially she wanted to run an extensive panel which would have run over 500$. Then presented a lower cost panel which all came back fine. I was then told a dental exam would be the best option and then presented with various options of meds to choose from to treat her for pain which there was no confirmation of. Ive called back multiple times, rudly left on hold by Shannon. My only ask was to have a different vet take the time to at the very least take a real look in her mouth before going the expensive route of putting her under anesthesia but ive been dismissed and told I would need to pay for another examination even though I already paid over $300 the first visit. Theres no compassion here, its all about money & forcing you to purchase packages.

All information was well explained, and my dogs were examined thoroughly. The technicians and doctor were respectful and pleasant.

$50 for a prescription of 4 pills that are $3 each only to find out they decided to give my dog medication for its skin (and not the UTI I BROUGHT MY DOG IN FOR 2 DIFFERENT TIMES UNCURED ) and I only found out this after I PAID.ALSO PAID AND SIGNED TO HAVE URINALYSIS SENT OUT FOR A MORE THOROUGH INSPECTION AND THEN WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PAY I WAS TOLD OH NO THEY DID IT IN HOUSE SO ITS AN XTRA $40 IF IM LYING SHOW ME MY SIGNATURE ON ANYTHING THAT SAYS TO DO THE URINALYSIS IN HOUSE. These people are crooks and I have witnesses and proof of everything I’m stating in my review.

I have had the worst experiences with Banfield. Today I brought my foster dog to have her check up appointment to get her health certificate so she can travel to her adopter’s home. She was there all morning, as it was a drop off appointment. I was told I could come pick her up so I went and realized I still needed the health certificate from the vet (which was paid for and listed as what was needed). The front desk girl (Jo P. - she deserves ALL the stars, she is amazing!!!) went back and found out there was an issue and the other vet, who apparently is the director, needed to fill it out instead of the first vet (due to a log-in issue but was more than willing to sign off on a health cert after the exam) but just sat down for a meeting. I was told it’ll be 1-2 hours so the staff asked this other vet if I had to wait or could I go home with my dog and come back when they call to pick up the cert; I was told we could go home. When I went back to pick up the cert the other vet, who is the Director, Kathleen F., said I had to go home and get my dog so she could do an exam. I explained she was already there all morning and had the receipt to prove it, but Kathleen just went full attitude on me. She told me she’s technically not even in the office as she’s only there for meetings and that she “is doing me a FAVOR,” among other things. Everything came off as if she didn’t trust the first vet’s examination, too. I was told he’s been in the industry over 50 years, so he wasn’t new to the process or to the job overall. Kathleen’s husbandry, attitude and customer service skills are terrible. She made it sound as though it was my fault she couldn’t fill out the paperwork and acted as though this was a huge inconvenience for her. I do my best to understand when changes/inconveniences/confusions occur but to be met with immediately hostility, blame and incompetence is simply unacceptable. And to have that from a Director level position is even more baffling.
