  I had a terrible experience at the holmdel location. We took out pop for a wellness first time visit, from the time we went into the exam room. The tech main concern was which plan did I want to purchase. When I asked her questions, she was very impatient, only kept asking which plan would I like to buy. I assumed she was the vet until the vet came in and introduced herself and it was even worse. She asked me a few questions, interrupt me while I was speaking. Waved to a tech walking by to take my dog to get checked for micro chip, as if I stole my dog. I was very uncomfortable. When the girl came back she says ok now we can exam him. It would have not felt so insulting if she would have atleast explained if they offered microchips. Told me my dog was past due for his Rabi shot an if she would have looked at my paperwork provided she would have saw. Dr G not good vibe . Examined him for 5min and charged me $92. And once again the sales pitch. Never again so humiliating

  It was my first time coming here and it was an amazing experience. Kelly and the staff were very knowledgeable and made me and my fur baby feel so comfortable! The customer service is excellent here and I will absolutely be coming back.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have been a Banfield customer for several years, starting in California and then moving to New Jersey — and one of the best things about Banfield is that the Wellness Plan transfers between states seamlessly. That made our move so much less stressful! We now bring both our dog and cats to the Holmdel location, and the staff here is truly the best. Every vet we've seen has been thorough, kind, and has excellent bedside manner. You can tell they genuinely care about your pets. I also have to give a special shoutout to Vickie — she is always so patient and kind, and her support means so much. She is the kind of staff member that keeps you coming back. Highly recommend this location!

  We love the staff here! The veterinarians are all so wonderful, especially Dr. Gallicchio. We have been here for wellcare and sick visits. Most recently one of our pups became ill and Dr. Gallicchio and vet tech, Kelly, were amazing in diagnosis and treatment. They helped put us at ease when we were so worried & upset. We are happy to be members of the Banfield Holmdel family.
