Took my dogs here for vaccinations. The first visit we waited a total of 2 hours. It took them 30 minutes to check us out so than we could leave and the front desk helped multiple customers who had just gotten into line instead of allowing us to pay so that we could leave. We had to come back for a second appointment for a booster vaccination required for boarding our dogs. We arrived on time and were placed in an exam room where we waited an hour while they tried to check us in because their system was down. Ultimately they were unable to check us in and told us we could come back the next day (we were unable to) and then told us that since they scheduled the booster vaccine past the due date for it, we would have to restart the series if we came back any later. This was extremely inconvenient as well as annoying that they could not just vaccinate our dogs. They had already weighed and done the required exam on our dogs but were unable to vaccinate due to not being able to put them as checked in as their system. Additionally we were unable to take our dogs to get the booster vaccine anywhere else as they had already waited to schedule them past the vaccination window. I would not recommend taking your pets here.

There are some benefits of being a Wellness Plan member such as routine exams and vaccinations. However, treatments and medications are still at very high costs. The Wellness plan just went up again this year. The service is adequate, but used to be a lot better.

Don’t take your pet to them. They don’t care about your pet they only care about themselves shouldn’t be in the business at all. I had an emergency and ran in to see if I could rinse my dog’s leg and maybe at least get a bandage. Only to be turned away while the staff laughed and didn’t take my request serious at all. I know it’s not an emergency vet however if you cared for animals at all you wouldn’t allow a dog to come in and leave in this condition and do absolutely nothing. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with Banfield and this is sad and outrageous.
