If you care about professionalism, transparency, or even basic respect as a pet owner, please read this before bringing your animal here. Let me start by saying: I love Dr. Lang. She has been nothing short of incredible, and up until now, my experiences with her and the vet techs have been positive. The real issue and the reason I will have to switch practices is the front desk staff and the lead technician, Danielle or Daniela who called me back for more information and wouldn't let me speak and made condescending comments as soon as I picked up the phone and spoke over me every time I spoke two words and when I paused her and asked "can i speak? I already had a difficult call before this and i do not wish to escalate or be spoken with like this" she continued to speak over me and I had to interrupt her again and let her know that i would like to speak before she yelled at me and hung up on me. This was all because I received a vague voicemail from Caitlin from the front desk informing me that my dog’s recently administered rabies vaccine had been recalled and that I should call back if I wanted another vaccine administered . No explanation. No information. No context for a recall involving a legally mandated vaccine. When I called to ask questions such as, "why was it recalled? Is my dog safe? Is it even appropriate to re-administer a rabies vaccine this soon?" she had no answers. Every response was: “It should be fine.” “I think there’s no harm.” “It should be okay.” “I’m not really sure.” When I let her know that I would like to speak with someone else who would have more answers, she suggested I speak with a vet, and said she would have Dr. Lang call me back. When I asked when I can expect a call, she got audibly irritated with me and told me she actually cant call me back in time because she won't be in and will have one of the other vets call me but that she can't give me an answer as to when I can expect a follow up (I had another vaccination appointment with them this coming Friday.) I received a follow-up call from Danielle, the lead technician, who immediately spoke to me in a condescending, dismissive tone. When I calmly asked not to be spoken to with an attitude — given the earlier interaction — she escalated, talked over me, and then made an appalling statement: “The doctors are not going to call you back for something like this. They have REAL emergencies — including euthanasia — and they are not stepping out of appointments for a call like this. I already spoke to them and they all said they couldn't be bothered to take a call for something like this so you're going to speak to me." This was said to me about a rabies vaccine recall on a vaccine their clinic administered. After interrupting me multiple times, she started escalating her volume and tone and I had to try to speak over her and continued to tell her not to speak to me like this before she hung up on me after she yelled "speak to the manager then!" And slammed the phone. At this point, I had to cancel my upcoming appointment because I was beyond disgusted and appalled by Danielle or Daniela's horrendous attitude and lack of professionalism. At least Caitlin tried to apologize for her lack of care and unintentional attitude to me. But this girl? I would NEVER trust my dog's care in the hands of a "lead vet tech" like that EVER. Imagine how she handles difficult pets when their owners aren't around with a temperament like that? It is genuinely unfortunate that an excellent veterinarian like Dr. Lang is being represented by front desk staff and a lead technician who are rude, unprofessional, unprepared, and incapable of communicating respectfully with clients. No pet owner should ever be treated this way.

Love this place! I travel all the way from the city because I think the care for both their patients and the patients' owners is worth it! The manager, Melissa, definitely helped us out when looking into what would be the most cost-effective and helpful route for my cat. The front desk was considerate and helpful. Dr Lang treated my cat and me with compassion. would 100% recommend
