    Dr. Bernstein and the pregnant front desk staff member are by far the most useless people in this practice. I have canceled all four of my dogs’ memberships, and my family will be doing the same. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with this clinic since opening a membership. The front desk staff member refuses to help and is constantly on her phone, claiming it is because she is pregnant. Only one other staff member was actually attending to clients. My first encounter with this pregnant staff member involved her rolling her eyes and having an attitude when a Spanish-speaking customer needed a translator. She essentially shooed them away and told them to wait because no one could translate, even though by law a translator should be available, even by phone. I arrived at 11:00 a.m. for my appointment, and that same family who had an appointment before me was still waiting when I left close to 3:00 p.m. and had still not been seen. When I was finally seen, Dr. Bernstein was cold, had an attitude, and provided answers so brief that the veterinary assistant had to repeatedly step in to answer my questions. Dr. Bernstein belittled the VA in front of me and constantly raised her voice while demanding that my dog be held properly, despite my dog being extremely anxious due to it being his first visit to the clinic at no fault of the VA. I tried to let it go, as I had already been waiting almost 40 minutes after being seated in the exam room before anyone came in. According to Dr. Bernstein, the front desk staff member had “forgotten” to inform them that I was in the room. There were no apologies only a doctor blaming her staff. I had previously made sure never to book with Dr. Bernstein again, yet somehow I was scheduled with her once more due to ongoing scheduling issues caused by the same front desk staff member. While waiting, I could hear Dr. Bernstein raising her voice at staff in other rooms, being demanding and cold. My interaction with her was no different. The veterinary assistant even apologized to me for Dr. Bernstein’s behavior once she left. I will be contacting corporate as I do have evidence of my second interaction with this doctor because I felt uncomfortable with this woman. Between the poor communication, lack of professionalism, disrespect toward staff and clients, and repeated scheduling failures, this clinic does not provide the level of care or respect pet owners deserve.

    the customer service is amazing! while getting my dog and cat all checked up i briefly mentioned having financial problems and couldn’t afford to get their nails trimmed, the VA left and when they came back they left me know their nail trims were on the house 🥹 sweetest person ever

    I just canceled my membership for my cat and a dog. I’m actually paying for my deceased cat, back in October until this month for the services that he got. The Doctors there are great, but the receptionists are awful. I was their member since 2016 for 4 animals! The scheduling was terrible for me, just not pleasant.

    I had a great experience at Banfield Pet Hospital. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. They treated my dog with genuine care and patience, which immediately put both of us at ease. The quality of service and level of attention my dog Sandy received were outstanding. I truly felt that my pet was in loving and capable hands. Thank you to the entire team for the wonderful care — I highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner.
