My parents' dog hadn't been to a groomer in a very long time, so he was nervous, but they were very patient and caring. They also made suggestions about his nails, to try buffing next time instead of clipping because of his negative reaction and because his nails are so dark and long. I know he doesn't let us cut his nails at ALL, so I'm thankful they got it done, and I will have them try buffing next time if it's easier on either the dog or the groomer. I'm new to dog ownership (my parents passed so I "inherited" their dog) and everyone there is happy to give advice and take their time with us.
