  Everyone at Vetco Total Care Clark is always so friendly, understanding and knowledgeable. Prices are always clear and reasonable . This specific one is my go to.

  Absolutely horrible service. After first visiting this location a few months ago I decided to bring my fur baby here to be treated. The receptionist was friendly however that’s where good customer service ends. The manager ( at the time I thought she was a vet assistant only to learn later she was the manager) was very cold and lacked empathy for my situation. I felt as though I was being talked down to and treated as a child when I asked about services recommended. The vet seemed very once in a rush and from the room I was placed in I could see the area he was sitting at. He seemed to be on a good rush to get on his phone as I sat there looking at him for over 20min just scrolling. I would not recommend Vetco, there are many other places where you can get much better service at a lower cost. Using a free office visit to get you in the door only to push services and be treated in a rude and judgemental manner is not worth it. Will no be returning.

  The only good thing I can say is how fast they got my new kitten in. Everything else besides that was HORRIBLE. No care from any of the staff about the tummy issues my kitten was having. No care from the staff about the parasite my kitten had. Even brought it to the office manager and I was told “ well what did you expect us to do about it” everytime I called them when her symptoms kept changing/ getting worse. The manger also tried to blame it on her staff that she has working in her vet office location in side the Petco. As a concerned pet parent I don’t care about the staffing issues you have. I only care about the correct care your giving my fur baby. I Was told the first visit/exam was free when I called to confirm before booking the appointment and was told over the phone and in person that it was free with the coupon I had just to then be charged for the visit and exam. The Clark NJ location has no care for any animals. You get told a vet will call you with the test results on Saturday but never did I had to call 5 times to beg them to give me the meds to help with the parasite she has. I had to call back 3 times on Monday to speak with her assigned vet to go over the results. Felt like I had to hunt the vet down that they had assigned to her. Thank god I was able to get her into a different vet that actually helped and she’s finally on the road to recovery. Petco needs to do better when hiring staff. 0/10 rating for this location and for the Petco vet

  Was greater by a worker in scrubs who had a stethoscope. I don’t believe he was a certified tech but looked the part. An expensive visit just to get blood work done and told that I would have to seek help from a full service animal hospital as they offered no treatment protocol. Wasted my time and money. The veterinarian here is very nice though. Go here for simple routine vaccines or anal glands. Anything beyond that is a waste of time.
