Let me start by saying that I’ve never had a problem with the veterinary care at this Banfield; however, the receptionists and people making appointments are TERRIBLE!!! To reach them you need luck and prayer and the make appointments with the competence of a squirrel trying to collect nuts during a hurricane.
I had an appointment scheduled for 4 pm. During the call to make the appointment they asked if it was just vaccines or if there was anything else as if it was just vaccines, they would schedule a room visit with a vet tech for a quick appointment. The day of the appointment, they called me at 10:52 am telling me the vet needed to leave early so if I could come early otherwise they would have to reschedule. I change my schedule around and told them if 3:30 was ok and they said that was good. I arrive at 3:27 pm and they took 15 minutes to check in, then this rude assistant tells me it’s now a drop off appointment and it will take 45 minutes to one hour. I say that I can’t wait that long and my appointment was for a room appointment. She goes inside for 5 minutes and comes back and says that it will still be drop off and the fastest the can do is at least 30 minutes, mind you this is already 4 pm. I told her why did you ask me to come early? And she gives me this excuse about an emergency. So apparently their appointment book has the structure of a choose-your-own-adventure written by a goldfish, which has the same level of competence as some of the people working at their front desk.
Unacceptable, if I didn’t have to come early I could have completed all my work for the day waited for the drop off but since they made me come in early I just had to grab my dog and leave without taking the vaccines. I was already frustrated with wait times, rudeness, and difficulty contacting this location and this was the last straw. I will be canceling my wellness plan and not be coming back as I live about 30 minutes from the vet office and this was a huge waste of my time.

I’ve been taking my little Peanut to Banfield since the day we got him (almost 5 years) and have had exceptional service every time we go in. I love how the app tells you exactly what your pet is due for so you can make the necessary appointments. Recently, we found out that our baby had multiple mast cell tumors and needed immediate surgery. Adriana has always been the best with our baby but she REALLY came through for us when we learned about this. She made sure to be there the day of the surgery to ensure everything was good. We had sooo many questions and concerns and she helped us with every single one of them. Adriana really cares for your pet which is very comforting. Great bedside manner! Thank you Adriana, Dr. McConnell and all the Banfield staff for always taking such good care of Peanut.

I scheduled an appointment and dropped my dog off as instructed. At that time, I was told the doctor would be in and out of surgery all day and would see my dog when available. It’s unclear why appointments are offered during times when the doctor is unavailable. After waiting over three hours, I called for a status update and was told my dog still hasn’t been seen. This experience has made me reconsider continuing my wellness plan.

This practice has demonstrated exceptional care, compassion, and professionalism toward my elderly chihuahua over many years. From the moment we walk in, the receptionists and staff treat her with genuine affection, handling her as if she were their own. I truly believe my dog’s longevity and continued quality of life are a direct result of the dedication and attentiveness of the team at this location.
Every member of the staff is consistently kind, patient, and compassionate—both to their pet patients and to the owners who love them. I have had some of the most difficult and emotional conversations here regarding my dog’s declining health, and I have always felt supported and understood. Adriana, the CVT shift lead, in particular, has been incredibly uplifting and empathetic, offering thoughtful and practical recommendations to help support my dog’s comfort and quality of life during her senior years.
Dr. Ebrahim has been my chihuahua’s primary veterinarian and has always provided outstanding care. Her thoroughness, professionalism, and genuine concern have given me great confidence and peace of mind over the years.
I regret that I cannot recall the names of the receptionists, but they deserve special recognition as well. Every phone call has been handled with grace, patience, and kindness, even during emotionally difficult moments. Their compassion has meant more to me than they may realize.
I am deeply grateful to the entire team for the exceptional care they provide. This practice truly sets the standard for veterinary medicine, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
