- RRRandi Lynn ReedMar 15, 20262.0Took my dogs two weeks ago and spent over 400 for their shots all of them. Had to come back on 3/15/26 for their booster shot to the canine influenza shot my bull for 1 shot was 292.00 all because I am not set up on monthly payments that banfield offers. This is absolutely ridiculous and they are scamming people out of money just called vetco at Petco and the booster is 50 all together for both of my dogs the front staff their is great , but. I was not emailed or anything about the price today so was caught off guard . I kindly walked out the office my dogs were scheduled for 9:30 and the vet doesn’t get there until 10 I was also not told this . Just horrible going to report this to my aunt who is a Congress woman in NJ this is straight stealing of money one shot 292. I call Bas when they got more than 4 two weeks ago and it was a little over 400 math is not mathing. Also most vets give discounts if they are treating more than one dog horrible just horrible.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
