I just left Banfield and I've never been more disgusted by the rude way I was treated this evening. I brought my 19 year old cat to have her glucose monitor put on. I had some concerns about the size of it, where it wld be, wil she be in pain etc... I could hear the tech through the door and whoever she was talking to about it. I could hear the attitude and the snarkiness on both of them. Then, the tech laughing at me being upset. I'm in tears and so sad cuz I thought I'd finally found a good vet for her around here. I had been taking her to the emergency room. I knew there she was treated with love and kindness.... I'm so disappointed in Banfield.

I personally LOVE Banfield! I bring both of my dogs:
One is very vocal and they’re so understanding, and treat her with so much love. She goes for regular check ups, shots, and also for her age. Anything I have questions about I bring her in.
My other dog can be very people reactive and dog aggressive, but they treat him like any other dog and they’re so understanding. I don’t trust a lot of people with him because of his reactive/aggressive behavior, but they have definitely earned my trust. He had his first appointment today for shots and I didn’t think he would be capable to get his shots done, but he did.
As always, they have exceeded my expectations once again!

I never write reviews but I am beyond upset. I usually go to the Concord location but had an emergency this morning and had to bring my dog to Manchester. Brought her in for her left eye, found out it is glaucoma. Vet said they would send the prescription into the outside pharmacy and it was very important to use the eye drops every 8 hours to relieve the pressure and pain until we could get into the specialist this week. Went to the pharmacy and they never sent it so we called again and was told they would put it in. Specifically requested that they call us back that it was all set as this is an emergency situation and never heard from them. Called at 5:15pm no answer, 5:30pm no answer, 5:45pm and the phone went straight to voicemail. Now they are closed until Monday and my pet is in pain with no relief. Have to scramble to get her into another vet on a Sunday in MA to get the script because Manchester is closed and no other locations in Nh are open. I go out of the way to go to the Concord Banfield because they are fantastic. I’ve been with Banfield on the wellness plan for over 15 years with multiple pets and have almost never had a problem but this has been the absolute worst experience.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
