- SSSue4 days ago2.0This last time I had my dog groomed, I saw her groomer doing a different dog and asked a different groomer who came in the waiting area where I was, if my dog was done. She said no, and I was a bit tiffed when I wondered why not. I could hear my dog barking and crying in the kennel behind the grooming area, then asked this other groomer if she can wait with me. Her groomer said no. I didn't like hearing her cry as I adopted her over 2 years ago where she came from a puppy mill for 6 years. She hasn't been in a kennel since, until that day. Then her groomer came out to talk to me and said the reason why she was doing this other dog was because the dog was VIP. What VIP? She said i could enroll my dog in VIP for $20 extra! I said i've been coming here for over 2 years, every 8 weeks, and no one told me about VIP! Evidently when this dog came in, she stopped working on my dog immediately to take this other dog right away! What?? When she finished with this dog, she asked me to leave the waiting area until the owner stopped by and took her dog. "Her dog doesn't like strangers! " PLEASE! If she would have finished my dog in the first place, we would already be out of there! As it turned out, it only took `10 minutes to finish my dog! Really? Well when I brought her home, I saw she cut my dog's butt short up to her butt. My golden should have a feathering 'skirt' like she always did. I'm sure this was done in spite! Also, it just turned out that my dog was due for a physical and they cut her toe nails, which the groomer should have done almost 2 weeks before! I'm done with this Petco in Hooksett, NH and will find another groomer else where, and it won't be a PETCO!

It takes forever to earn a free cut and bath and then my points expired 2 months before, I received no notice that they were expiring or that I even had a free service available.
