- SLSophia LawyerFeb 22, 20261.0came in the store 20 minutes before they closed. picked out some fish and plants we wanted. asked for help grabbing them as they were actively catching fish for another customer while we were standing there. the girl named alicia said that they were closing in about 5 minutes and they couldn’t get them. plants take 30 seconds and the fish were the remaining of a single tank. i work at a different pet store and know that 1, this would take way less than 5 minutes, 2, that’s not how you perform customer service, and 3, if the store is still open, you can still shop. honestly extremely disappointed with this service. i drove down from canaan (1h 45m) to look at a different variety of fish, knowing i would cut it close but still have what should have been more than enough time. apparently not to this store.

They are about the bottom line, even to the point of keeping their employees late during a snow storm when the place is dead. The individual expertise of the employees regarding different "in-store" departments varies wildly and this is a detriment to animal safety as well. Some type of mandatory minimum education about the needs of the variety of species represented should be put in place.
