I highly suggest not going to this store if you don't look rich. If you are a person of color, or someone who looks alternative don't go here they will profile you wrongly and then force you out even if you're trying to buy something for your pet like this person was.

I didn’t know you had to apply the petco points/ rewards to use at the checkout and I asked Kayleena and she explained how to use it. She showed me how I actually had rewards that expire today and to log in to the app and she’d show me how to apply. I’m originally from Cali and was used to getting told I had rewards. For a year now I was so confused why I didn’t have any to the point I honestly thought I messed up on making an account. But I’m so happy she helped me through this. She was amazing!

I love the variety of items in the stores and I particularly love the shelter donation and adoption programs that Petco hosts, but I'm giving a 3 star rating instead of 5 stars because of some of the practices at Petco such as shipping Beta fish from overseas and keeping them in the small plastic tupperware containers until someone buys them or they die. Many of them do not look well, which I'm sure could be helped by a better living situation/container until they are adopted. This is a cruel practice for a business that is supposedly invested in the welfare and care of animals.

It did not have any tags on it. When I got home and opened the bag, I immediately saw how dirty it was. When I returned it to the store, the cashier, who had also picked the item, asked for the reason for the return. I told her the jacket was disgusting and she said "it's the only one we had left" I told her that I wish she'd canceled the order and saved me another trip. She shrugged and said maybe the next truck would have cleaner jackets. I will not be returning to find out.
