  Booked appt with your store as I was leaving on a trip to a wedding my groomer couldn't get to us before our flight. Upon arrival I went over what I wanted, I had manager inspect my dogs coat for mats she stated she found a smaller than pea size on her chest, I always keep her long and fluffy my groomer has seen her since she was 7 months old she's 2 yrs now so I know she wasnt terribly matted as shes groomed every 4 -6 weeks and I line brush with slicker brush and use metal comb and detangler 3 to 4 times a week I cuddle her always so if I find a mat I get to it I asked approximately what would be cost she really emphasized 20 $ per mat and stated would give me 20 $ off on first visit I told her my pup was going to be part of my sisters wedding along with her litter mates my girl would be the flower girl and all the litter would be fluffy we planned this as my pup has always been long and fluffy so I repeatedly told the manager I did not want as I call it a skinny doddle "the there was a lot of mats cut" the manager. stated she is long I should have left then especially when Ive said she's always has a long coat .she proceeded to show me the H clipper blade and another she preferred I said again I want her long and fluffy and if you find " mats" I'll pay the 20$ get there to pick her up I asked the only person in the shop at that time is she cute she said with a deer in the headlight look she's cute I was given cost of 109$ dont know if this included the 20$ off first visit or not so I handed her 120 $ for services to include tip but I then said let me see her first before i pay because she asked me a strange question which was Is this your dogs first groom I said she's been groomed since 7months old so she brought her out my granddaughter she screamed omg look at her I started crying asking why????? No one contacted me saying hey we cant work with her or we found matts nothing, which to me should have been explained to me as i gave instructions customer service was horrible she said let me get a manager. as i told her I will not pay for this i was told we can give you your money back but we cant give her her hair back very condensating I will never ever recommend PETCO to anyone and no my girl will not be in the wedding we will be in the audience .Heartbroken !! This was on Apr19 2026. The pic is her before she was shaved so close you can she her pink skin her crown was shaved legs shaved just appalling

  we walked in 8:50 and lady was RUDE saying we need to hurry because they are locking doors at 9:00. it made us very uncomfortable the way she said it.

  Had a Mini Make Rover for my girl on Sunday. She is not very fond of getting her nails trimmed. Kiera (probably spelled it wrong) went above and beyond with her and was able to get them done. She is amazing and Im very thankful for her patience!
