  I had a deeply frustrating and upsetting experience at this clinic, particularly with Dr. Harrison. He provides overwhelming amounts of information but then refuses to give clear recommendations when asked, which leaves you feeling unsupported at moments when guidance actually matters. The staff was judgmental and dismissive while repeatedly pushing expensive testing (often $500+ per visit), including tests my pet had already undergone. At one point, staff were whispering outside the exam room implying that I “didn’t care” about my pet—which is frankly insulting. If I didn’t care, I wouldn’t be at a veterinary clinic making difficult decisions in the first place. My pet has had medical issues her entire life, and I have been diligent and consistent with her care. Instead of acknowledging that, the approach here felt like “poke and hope” medicine, paired with pressure tactics and vague suggestions to try to “finagle the system.” That combination does not inspire confidence or trust. Receiving serious, heartbreaking news about your pet is hard enough. Being judged, talked down to, and pushed into counterproductive care makes it worse. This clinic left me feeling that they lacked both empathy and clear direction. I would not recommend this practice and would suggest looking elsewhere for compassionate, collaborative veterinary care.

  First consult visit was great. I received all the information I was needing and the intake person was very kind and patient with all my questions. All the staff that we interacted with were friendly and very welcoming. Thank you!

  My experience was not well. The vet was polite and explained things decently. Everyone else was pretty rude. We did expensive testing on our dog to figure out his diarrhea issues. After a couple days we called them and had results for 1 part. The following day we called and received the rest. I had to call in for results and explanations. No paper work mailed to us, emailed to us, nothing. Speaking on the phone trying to get answers and understand results being read off to you isn't ideal. Perhaps an informed person should be reading results and dealing with questions. Trying to understand the medication they wanted to give him was a whole new headache. I called a different location (120th and k) and finally had his results, vet notes and tests sent to me via email. The other location also explained everything to me and answered all questions. If I choose to return it'll be at the K st location.
