I had an emergency with my dog on Saturday but b/c I couldn't speak directly to Vetco, I had to try to get help thru the call center. My dog might still be alive if I could have spoken with an employee. This bad experience will probably propel me to change veterinary services.

Mikayla, Jordan, Kylie, Dr. Peterson, and the rest of the team are the absolute best! They’ve been there for me through everything—when the news hasn’t been the best, when the news has been good, when I’ve had a hundred questions, and even to celebrate milestones in my own life. They take amazing care of both my dog and my cat—my dog even cries with excitement on the way to see them! Even when I lived in Omaha, I drove over an hour just to keep coming here. They’ve truly become like family, and I couldn’t recommend them more!

This clinic has caused more harm, stress, and heartbreak than I ever imagined possible. I trusted them with my two cats — and now I deeply regret it. If you care at all about your pet’s well-being, please go somewhere else. Two years ago, it began with my first cat being cut open for a completely unnecessary exploratory surgery. They suspected she wasn’t spayed — something that could’ve easily been verified. Turns out she was spayed. They put her through a traumatic, invasive procedure for nothing. Watching her suffer through recovery, knowing it was all avoidable, was heartbreaking. Then came my second cat — just a week ago. He’s a senior, a rescue who was left in the street declawed, defenseless which means sadly is a bit anxious when handled. I dropped him off at 8:30 AM for a simple ultrasound and ear cleaning. I got a mid-morning call saying they might need to sedate him. I gave permission if necessary. Two hours later — silence. I called back… and was told they hadn’t even started. They were at lunch. My cat had been left alone, stressed, and starving for hours. A human brain surgery wouldn’t take this long. It turned into a full-day ordeal with zero updates unless I chased them down. When I finally picked him up at 5:30 PM, he was shaking, weak, and licking my hand in the car from hunger. I brought him home half-dead and traumatized. I knew they hadn’t given him a thing to eat all day. 💔 And it didn’t end there. Facing a possible tumor diagnosis, I spent days calling and following up just to get his medical records sent to another vet. I was constantly told it would be sent “soon.” Meanwhile, my cat’s health was at risk — and they were too disorganized or indifferent to care. I paid over $1,000 for this nightmare. But what broke my heart most wasn’t the bill — it was the care he needed and never received. When I asked again for help with the records, they flipped it back on me, claiming I hadn’t called — which would’ve been laughable if I weren’t so angry. The lack of urgency, compassion, and basic professionalism is staggering. To be clear, I don’t blame the individual staff entirely — the few I spoke with were okay. But the system is broken. It's poorly run, dangerously inefficient, and deeply inhumane in its treatment of animals. I won’t even return here for supplies. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life as a pet parent. I will never go back — and I strongly urge anyone reading this to stay far away. Your pets deserve so much better than this place.
