As a retired groomer with a bad wrist and a crew of five wildly different canines, I don’t hand out grooming compliments like biscuits. My pack includes a Pomeranian with a fashion agenda, a greyhound mix, a doxi mix, a whippet, and a Dalmatian.
Enter Tessa B.
Finding someone who could handle my Pom’s custom “jacket and pants” cut (I call it his Go-Go Boot look) felt impossible. It’s a precision job usually thrown at a poodle, and it took Tessa all of one trial run to decode and by round two she had it dialed in like she’d been grooming him since puppyhood. Perfection without protest.
The rest of my crew gets baths and tidy-ups, and they emerge glossy, relaxed, and visibly adored. No stressed eyes, no side-eye, just the posture of dogs who know they’ve been pampered properly. My whippet practically floats out the door afterward, and my Dalmatian struts like he’s got endorsements.
Professional, kind, skillful, and genuinely tuned in to each dog’s vibe. I’ll be back, and I’ll be sending everyone I know who needs someone who gets both the technical artistry and the heart behind grooming.
Five stars, ten paws, endless recommendations.
