We are grateful for the outside referrals. They have provided to NCstate to make sure he can live along healthy life while receiving the treatments he needs that may be outside of their current scope of availability, which chose true integrity for our animals, well-being, and he loves going to visit the staff who know him so well and love him so dearly.

Disgusting environment. Luckily, they have an online booking option, but don’t use it! You’ll show up just for them to tell you none of the online appointment times are real or available. Quite literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever had another human say to me out loud. Have the day y’all deserve.

They then told us they couldn't see us and that we had to wait another 2 months for an appointment. They were completely unaccommodating, even though it was their mistake. Saying sorry but then not being able to do anything about it is unsubstantial. There's a reason this place is under 4 stars. Time to look for insurance elsewhere.
- ERErica RogersNov 20, 20251.0HORRIBLE experience here all around!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I ended up driving 2.5 hours to a vet in Raleigh over going back to this place. They never answer their phones. They never call you back. Half the time they don’t know their own prices or just make them up. Almost all of the time they have no idea what’s going on or what they are talking about. The place is very understaffed so the staff that is there is overworked and frazzled all the time. They are rude and often make mistakes and then get upset at you for it. God forbid you have an emergency or have an issue that has a time constraint. Thankfully another vet was able to get me in. I will never go back to this place. This vet caused me so much unnecessary stress and quite literally wasted my time and money for nothing in return. Also, DO NOT GO HERE FOR HEALTH CERTIFICATES!!! You will miss your trip and they charge you double what other vets will.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
