  Truthfully, I won’t bring my dog back here. I told the staff my dog was reactive and scared of new things, they came in and were super timid themselves, poked her 4 times to get blood, then left and came back 20 minutes later to do vaccinations and had to re-traumatize her again when they could have clustered everything together. I had to ask for treats and cheese and advocate for them to bring everything to room so she didn’t get dragged to back room with unknown people. They seemed very reluctant to do so which is very disheartening for someone who is really trying to advocate and train her rescue dog. The vet tech Leslie who was helping that day from another clinic was very helpful, kind and trained on fear based dogs, but the doctors did not seem to care at all about her or try to get get on her level to create a positive interaction. Only positive thing is that I had the wellness plan and didn’t have to pay for the exam.

  My dog is dead and yet I still have to pay for her Wellness plan for 8 months after her passing. That plan was the only way to make Banfield worth it but it’s now just an expensive reminder of how much I miss her and how truly not worth it Banfield is. The cost of the next 8 months with no dog to care for will surely make up for any savings I got

  I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff at the Sanford Banfield. Specifically Dr. Nielson. She has taken care of my dog for a long time, but over the last 6 months, we saw her regularly. She was thorough, kind, explained every issue and potential treatment option. Despite every effort, when we lost our sweet pup, she was there with us until the very end. She sat with us, cried with us, and I truly know she cared about our pup, and us. I am forever grateful for all of their knowledge, care and most importantly, their compassion. Cinder loved going to Banfield, even when she couldn’t hardly walk- they all knew her by name and were so kind when we lost her. I can never thank you enough. ❤️

  Had my cat here less than 1 month ago for an ear infection. It seems the antibiotic did not fully clear his infection, so I brought him back for a revisit and was told they need to redo the tests even though he's exhibiting the same symptoms as previously. $140 later for an ear swab and a talk with the vet tech (not even the vet, even tho I was charged for a normal visit) and I won't be back here.
