(I may or may not have held it for the 1.5 hour ride home🤫)We've never been disappointed when shipping at Petco. I had to this edit. While we were waiting in line at checkout two young kids were trying to buy crickets to feed their dragon. Their cars kept declined or for whatever reason it wouldn't work. The employee didn't hesitate when pulled his card or and paid for their crickets. He beat me to it. Said he already had when I tried to pay. Awesome guy. Just wish I could remember his name.

I checked out at the counter then sat the fish down and I have no idea how it happened but it slid and flipped off the counter. The shockwave killed him instantly and I was so upset I felt I would throw up. It had been so beautiful, almost angelic, and I killed it. With a rock in my gut and my heart weighed the tears welled up and I teetered on the edge of bursting with sadness and guilt. The gentleman behind the counter was so understanding and sweet about it and told me to pick another fish. I couldn't do it being a little afraid to touch another one at the moment so my friend picked one out for my daughter. I just wanted to let everyone know this kind fella made the best of a very bad situation and I'm grateful for it. I named the little guy we brought home Kismet since it seemed he was meant to be the one for my kiddo after all. Oh. I didn't mention, without my friend knowing, he was the first one I thought of buying but chose the white one instead. Life is weird sometimes. Requiece and peace little fishy.
