I admitted my puppy because of a urine problem. They gave him a treatment that didn't go with his diagnosis. My dog got worse with that treatment, she started with vomiting, diarrhea and tremors. I took her to another place where they are professionals and they confirmed that the treatment they sent her at BANFIELD was not the right one. From an emergency that could come out for $500, he spent the $1,500 for this place.

I was really unhappy with this vet practice. I repeatedly told them I'd adopted a feral cat, and she was NOT going to let them examine her. And being feral, I knew this was going to be traumatic for her. I asked beforehand if there was a way to sedate her, and they said because they hadn't seen her before, they couldn't recommend anything. I asked them to be ready to sedate her upon arrival because, again, she's feral and won't let them touch her. When I got there, they didn't sedate her, they took her back for 30 seconds, brought her back in, and said they couldn't examine her. I mean, obviously! They told me I needed to bring her back for another appointment where they could sedate and examine her, and then I'd have to bring her back for a third appointment to remove the cyst I'd brought her in for. I couldn't have made it any clearer that this needed to be a one-and-done appointment if possible and that the cat would be terrified. They spent the whole time trying to sell me some expensive service I didn't need with an expensive insurance plan I didn't ask for. 1) They didn't listen to me, 2) the pushy tactics with the insurance plan, and 3) the three appointments they wanted convinced me they were more interested in following protocol and trying to make money instead of putting the wellbeing of the animal above everything. Not what I want in a vet. I ended up taking her to Care First Animal Hospital, where they listened to me and did everything in one appointment. I do not recommend Banfield at all!
