  I absolutely LOVE it here!!! From the amazing receptionists, to the vet techs, Dr. Tucker and their absolute awesome groomer Alisha who is just phenomenal!!! When I brought my baby Loki here, I was cautious due to how his former vet and the staff treated me and basically blamed me for his weight gain and lack of energy. Staff were warm and welcoming, Dr. Tucker wasted no time getting Loki tested for Cushing's. He tested positive for Cushing's and luckily we also learned he is diabetic. Dr. Tucker saved Loki's life and I'm so grateful for her and her amazing staff! Had I stayed at the other place, I firmly believe Loki wouldn't be here today. Alisha is the first groomer who actually listens to what I'm saying and knows what she's doing. Receptionists are just so amazing and welcoming!!! I will never be able to say or show just how grateful I am for not making me feel like the blame, for actually listening to me, and doing everything and working with me. Raeford Vet is the place to bring your fur babies!!! Thank you ladies for everything you've done to help Loki!!!!

  Throwaway account, but I’ve been going to this vet for almost two years now. I take all four of my personal dogs, and I’ve taken one of my fosters here for care. The front desk staff are amazing. The vets are amazing, the vet techs are wonderful. They really work with my pets and are careful not to traumatize them. They are so caring with my dogs, and, this is the first time I haven’t had to muzzle two of them because the staff is so efficient, and they really know what they are doing. They really try to make a scary experience for animals they best that they can. They are also SO accommodating. Veterinary medicine is no doubt one of the hardest jobs on the planet, in my opinion. I’ve seen some of the staff cry, I’ve seen them light up when seeing regular patients. You can tell they genuinely care about the pets that come in, as well as their owners. I am so happy this practice is close to home. Also, they offer ‘paw plans’, ensuring a more affordable way for pet parents to make sure their babies get the annual care they need. With four dogs, I definitely needed that. Also, their prices are very fair, and pricing for surgeries that my own pets have needed were by far better compared to the other quotes given by practices in surrounding areas. Always recommend Raeford Animal Hospital.
