- JIJoe Clear II1 day ago5.0I am not a local but my daughter and son in law highly recommend the Pittsboro Animal Clinic. My dog was bitten by another responsible dog owner who also uses this clinic. She called in the incident and gave me the address. When I arrived they were expecting me and did an excellent job. They were though and friendly. Communication with my vet was made and all is well. They spoke highly of the other dog and owner and gave me the same respect. They are vets for the right reasons. Healthy relationships between animals and people. I class act. With a 5 star Rating.

Everything from making the appointment, access into the bldg, the actual visit and check out went so smooth. The doctor was so kind and calm and this kept Grey (our cat) calm. Thank you! When I moved to Pittsboro 4 years ago I took my little dog there for everything… vaccinations, well checks, ear infections ect!!!! They cost a fortune but I wanted somewhere near by bc my dog is very old and I knew she would eventually need care quickly. Today when I returned from work my girl was passing blood (this usually signals a UTI) I immediately called at 3:48pm and was told to go to an emergency vet in Chapel Hill ( rush hour)!!!! That they would be closing soon and couldn’t give her any attention!!!! EXCUSE ME?!?! What?!?! Why?!?! Are they not her doctors? Have they not been seeing her for 4 years? Of course she had an appointment those times! But Get her in! Give her a uti test.. check her out!!!! CARE! She’s a patient! I may be wrong but if you are an animal “HOSPITAL” wouldn’t you put your client that needs you above getting off work on time?! Instead you have no feelings at all that she will have anxiety over going to a different vet?!?! Or make me drive in rush hour traffic to a stranger when I live near your clinic! AND YOU ARE OPEN! If you read this review and you are new to Pittsboro or a looking for a vet please don’t take your pet here!!!!
