  Petco carries the same wet cat food that I can find at Target, wal mart or a grocery store. I don't find that a positive.

  The vet clinic was absolutely amazing. However the grooming station is terrible! When I arrived I watched them shave down all the dogs in there and they all looked like they didn’t want to do their jobs. The lady who met me came out and was already giving me negative vibes before she even spoke. I asked her not to shave my puppy low, I let her know that this is his first groom and he’s still a baby so he’s going to be curious and a little anxious but I don’t want him to have any calming agents and she immediately got hostile with me and I knew at that point it wasn’t going to be a good outcome. She then proceeded to tell me that they couldn’t groom him because he needed to see a vet and get his ears cleaned… he just went to the vet a few days earlier and was cleared for his first grooming.. and it’s their job to groom not the vet. Then she proceeded to tell me that he would have to be shaved low despite my request.. my puppy is brushed regularly he just has long hair and she didn’t want to work with it. Ultimately she ended the conversation with telling me to take him to a one on one groomer since it would be his first grooming out side of his parents daily maintenance. I was very dissatisfied with the customer service and the interaction as a whole. She was simply lazy and didn’t want to work with a long haired puppy, and didn’t want to work with a puppy who’s parents pay attention to everything. These are members of peoples families, they are going to have concerns and if you can’t handle that you shouldn’t be working with them. Believe the reviews before you waste your time.

  Walked in expecting to have a better selection of reptile food than petsmart. But no same results as the other, half of the worms were dead or either in a mold filled container. Same with pretty much any other selection of food was the same.

  The man who is stationed by the fish center always seems to know what he's doing! He's been there for at least a year now. Not to mention the environment is always clean. I pleased to even mention the Bettas look healthy every time I walk in there. Not that that should be a surprise, but compared to other companies who don't care about their animals, specifically Bettas, they seem to take good care of theirs.

  If I could give 0 stars I would. Grooming department is completely unknowledgeable. I have two dogs both are 8 years old and have been getting groomed their entire lives between Petco and PetSmart, we usually take them to whichever business has the soonest openings. It was explained at drop off that we just moved to the area and missed the last groom, I understood my long hair dog was matted and was looking for a start over cut. I also advised that she does better when I am not around and every other location has been perfectly fine taking her straight to the back and not making a big deal about the handoff. This location however wanted to do their whole coat assessment on the floor while I was still there. I understand this is part of their process, but every other location has not had issues taking her to the back. Since she is protective, she snapped at the tech and was essentially kicked out of grooming all together. 8 years of being groomed without issues. After this, they also refused to bathe my second dog because she was shedding and I didn’t not want to upgrade to the $140 deshed plus extra brushing package. WHAT DOG DOES NOT SHED, I can give her extra brushing myself I don’t need to pay for an extra 40 to brush her when there’s no way to verify you are actually providing that extra service. Pitiful excuse for groomers at this location.
