    I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had today at your grooming salon, specifically with the Grooming Manager, Amber. I scheduled a 4:45 PM appointment online for a bath-only service, which was the only available time. After booking, I received a message instructing me to bring my dog in before 4:00 PM to allow enough time for the service. I adjusted my schedule and arrived at 3:45 PM—an entire hour early—to accommodate this request. Upon arrival, Amber informed me that she would not perform the bath-only service unless I agreed to have my dog’s hair cut. She stated that brushing his long hair would be too time-consuming, despite the fact that his coat is not matted and I have previously received bath-only services at this same location without issue. I explained my preference clearly, noting that I have not had positive experiences with grooming cuts at this location in the past. Despite this, she refused service, was dismissive, and displayed a short-tempered and unprofessional attitude throughout the interaction. What is most concerning is the lack of consistency and communication. I made every effort to comply with the salon’s request by arriving early, yet was still denied the service I booked—without a reasonable or professional explanation. This experience was not only frustrating but unacceptable, especially from someone in a management position. I have already escalated this matter to Human Resources and am awaiting further follow-up. I strongly believe that situations like this should be addressed seriously, as customer service and professionalism should be a priority—particularly in leadership roles. At this point, I am reconsidering returning to this location due to this experience. UPDATE- Stan - the store manager has done an amazing job with customer service and making this right. He was able to get me another appointment with Courtney and he has been top tier with following up on this situation and making sure I was accommodated. Courtney did a wonderful job! These 2 has done so great that I will continue being a returning customer. Thank you!

    I took my dog to Petco for grooming after confirming she met their vaccination requirements. I normally groom her myself without any issues, so I was expecting a professional, higher-quality service. Instead, I was charged over $100 ($74 for a bath plus $30 in add-ons), and the results were completely unacceptable. I was told my dog’s hair was matted and would need trimming, but when I picked her up, she had been completely shaved and looked extremely unkempt and uneven. Her nails were not trimmed, and several basic grooming tasks were clearly not completed. Despite failing to provide the services I paid for, I was still charged full price. When I raised my concerns, I was dismissed and told the grooming was completed “to the best of their ability,” which is simply not true. I also found it highly inappropriate that the groomer suggested my dog needed sedation, something that was never necessary before and was not discussed properly. This experience shows a clear lack of care, professionalism, and accountability. I am requesting a refund for the incomplete and unsatisfactory service. I would strongly caution others against bringing their pets to this location.
