    1. Banfield is owned by a private equity firm, meaning that profits are prioritized over care. They consistently charge more for (in my experience) substandard services. 2. The vet tech was kind and attentive, but the vet himself acted like we were an inconvenience, and we were the only ones there! He didn't handle or inspect my pet at all in my presence, instead reporting what he noticed while weighing my pet. They misjudged his age by a good six months (and he was a kitten!). They didn't notice a limp until we brought it up, and then immediately suggested we pay $700 for xrays. Ha! 3. They push a subscription-based model for some stupid reason. What corporate tool thought this up? We only went because they were offering a free initial checkup, but even then, it wasn't worth it. Take your pet to a LOCALLY OWNED vet that actually cares.

Banfield is a great place to go if you want to have the best experience for you and your pet. I love the staff and the atmosphere they care a lot and make sure you understand what you’re paying for and what my kitten will need. My kitten is the first cat I’ve ever had so I definitely needed to come to place like this so I can feel confident in my care of my kitten.

Banfield Pet Hospital in Kannapolis is wonderful. My kitties have always been treated with care and concern. My kitty Maverick recently had to have surgery. I was very nervous about this and asked many questions. Pam the RN was very compassionate and answered all of my questions with a smile. This was very much appreciated. Dr Dale took very good care of Maverick. I know he can be a handful and I very much appreciate Dr Dale's patience and professionalism. Gwen Bowman is the practice manager. She is always willing to answer questions. She is professional and kind and you can tell that she cares about your fur baby. The front desk always greets us with a smile and remembers your name. I do appreciate that also. So if you're looking for veterinary care for your fur baby Banfield pet hospital is the best you will find.

Very caring and knowledgeable. They took great care of my cat, Macaroni. They even called to check on her the next day. Prices are very reasonable and they have an option of a monthly payment plan. I highly recommend them.
