We saw Dr. Bogle/Vogle (please forgive me if I have your name wrong), and she treated my puppy as if he were here own. We had a scare, when poison control gave us conflicting answers, she tripled checked with them for the correct information to treat my puppy and she was pretty fast (eventhough I was told it may take awhile). The NYer in me thought it was a wait was very short and what a relief to find out my. puppy would be fine. Love this place and if I ever have another emergency they are my go to!

We saw Internist, Dr. Bailey for follow-up consultation for Teddy, our Goldendoodle, today. She was personable, professional and knowledgeable, had done her homework! about his history which had included a very scary recent gastroenteritis treated by emergency specialist at same center.
The vet tech today. clinical and front desk staff in the past, in addition to Dr. Bailey have made us feel at ease and confident that Teddy has been cared for in a loving and expert way!!! Thank you!!!

My mother went to this facility Saturday morning at 1am. Had to wait 10 mins just for someone to open the door to let her and Vinny (cat) into the facility. Did stayed there for 3 hours (understandable with one vet and vet tech) for just an X-ray and for them to tell us that they could not find anything that it was probably allergies. They did not noticed that Vinny had a heart murmur (confirmed but our actual vet the next day) and gave him a steroid shot/pills that could make it so much worse. $754 later for an X-ray and no help. Went to the vet next day, our vet asked for the information/x-rays and only got the information.
Will not be going to this place again.

We have a dog who has been battling an issue. We where given a referral to get a CTscan done. They called and scheduled it. When on the phone I asked if this appointment was going to be the procedure and fix or just the CT.. I was told it would be everything. So we wait a month for our appt.3 days prior to the appt I get a text from them telling me to not feed him, no water, no meds after midnight. We go in to the appt and it’s ONLY a consult for $295!!! Fine… we schedule him for two days later with an estimated cost of $3200. We show up, we are being asked questions that are strange and not fitting for what we are there for. We ask… do you have our dogs chart because this is making sense. We had deep concerns… we left with our dog without getting it done. I need to know that the facility that I am trusting my dog’s life in has the skill knowledge and expertise to handle what’s going on. When you are asking me questions that do not pertain to my dog. It’s highly concerning. When you’re asking me about a medication that my dog takes for vomiting when my dog doesn’t take medication for vomiting that’s a problem. When you tell me that you’re going to be doing a procedure and I show up for that procedure and you tell me no he’s not getting that done. That’s a problem, too many red flags for me to be comfortable leaving my Animal behind. I run a business and I understand how reviews work. You take them with a grain of salt because you don’t necessarily know both sides. My best suggestion to anybody would be do your research, be prepared, and no, who you’re interesting the life with. If you have any concerns or you don’t have a warm and fuzzy feeling, don’t leave your Animal behind
Update: it’s been 3 days since the second appt and according to the reply I was to get a call again and also according to Dr Bailey, we were to get a follow on call. That has not happened.
We also have called around to get recommendations to other offices to get this done and they have all stated “ we do not recommend or send our patients to Carolina Vet Spec. “ That is very telling to me when other offices are saying that.
