Last night we had a medical emergency with our dog, Oliver, who was bleeding relentlessly. We called ahead and were told by the front desk representative, Casey, that the total time from arrival to discharge would be approximately 3–5 hours; not just the wait to be seen.
Unfortunately, our experience was far from that expectation. We were there for over six hours, and it wasn’t until I called to request that our dog be released that any meaningful action was taken regarding stopping the bleeding.
Despite letting our dog Oliver bleed out for over six hours, what was most concerning was the level of care during our visit. At one point, Oliver had an accident, and despite staff being informed, he was left sitting on a floor soaked with his own urine and blood for hours. My partner who was with him the entire time, even offered to clean it up himself, but was never provided any tools to do so. They had to sit in a small room smelling of blood and urine everywhere for over six hours. That is not acceptable for any patient, especially one in distress.
Communication throughout the entire process was extremely poor. We received little to no updates, and no clear guidance on what was happening or why there were delays.
After more than six hours of waiting while our dog continued to bleed, the doctor finally came in. Instead of urgency or compassion, we were met with a suggestion of euthanasia and comments that Oliver appeared “dull and lethargic.” Of course he was; he had been bleeding for hours and it was the middle of the night. The lack of empathy and bedside manner was incomprehensible.
To make matters worse, when I called today to request records, I was informed by the Front Desk representative who informed me that she “just worked there on the weekends“ told that Dr.Dalton had left the night before without completing clinical notes, or visit narrative . Despite paying over $1,300 for x-rays, labs, and prescriptions, we were refused copies of records and radiographs because Dr.Dalton failed to complete prior to her departure from her shift.
This level of disorganization, lack of accountability, and disregard for patient care is deeply concerning. Although I am waiting to hear back from the hospital manager, Vincent Owens. In the meantime, I wanted to desperately share that I would strongly advise others to avoid this facility and take your loved ones to a facility that cares.

I am really grateful for this team. I brought in my cat Beans, absolutely terrified and emotional, and everyone here was really kind. Cassie at the front desk was extra kind, and checked in via text. Dr Coartney was helpful in explaining the process and prices, and also checked in with me via text. Although I didn’t get to meet Dr. Bailey, she is the one who made me feel like Beans was in great hands. I felt that she was genuinely invested in Bean’s care. She explained everything to me over the phone twice without rushing, answered my questions, and had a very kind demeanor as well. She was thorough and communicative with me. Robin, the tech was also very sweet to both me and Beans, and helped explain her post-visit care clearly and followed up.
Obviously, there’s going to be frustrating wait times, expensive tests, and confusing prognoses at animal hospitals, but this team genuinely cared for me and my kitty during a scary time. Me & Beans are grateful :)

Today was one of the worst days of my life because I had to put my sweet 13-year-old cat down. The staff was impeccable and showed so much compassion towards me and gave me as much time as I needed to be with my sweet boy before he went. I am very grateful for their professionalism and compassion that they said, and I will recommend them in the future.

Took my bearded dragon Bumi here today without an appointment. Took a while bc they were busy but that was to be expected. Preston was amazing. He made us feel welcome and comfortable. He had an abundance of knowledge and answered every question we had. They are taking great care of my little man and I feel like they will have him right as rain in no time. Had an amazing experience here today. Thank yall for everything. True life savers🫶

Referred to CVS for my dog(Honey). She had masses that needed to be removed. Prognosis was not great, but the surgeons were fantastic. The surgery was more involved than originally discussed. There were times we weren't sure she would fully recover. The staff was amazing. They provided updates during the day and talked with us when we came to visit. It was eight long days of worrying and praying before our Honey came home. I honestly don't think she would have had this great outcome if we had taken her anywhere else.
