- MSMike SmithJan 7, 20261.0This place use to be a good place to take your pet to but that changed a couple of years ago. Everything here is a money grab and the care isn't worth the price you pay. They prescribed my pet medications and they never detailed the complications or side affects of the steroid they prescribed. At the 2 week check up when I described the symptoms they were like, yes, that is a side effect that wasn't mentioned. That side effect lasted for two more weeks and when I called in to let them know what is going on, they told me to wait a few more weeks for the side effect to go away from the steroid. That side effect never went away and was actually a sign that my dog had diabetes for a month without treatment due to them telling me to wait. If they would have told me the side effects of the medication they prescribed, I would have asked for a different form of treatment. Due to the mismanagement of diabetes, his health declined rapidly and instead of being a healthy dog, he ended up passing away 3 months after being diagnosed with diabetes.
