It showed not only in her knowledge, but in the genuine care and respect she has for both dogs and their people. Although I ultimately did not move forward with training through her, my experience with Alyssa was still incredibly positive and meaningful. I was initially unsure about using a shock collar, and she handled that concern with honesty, patience, and compassion. She took the time to explain the process thoroughly, allowed me to feel the collar myself, and made sure I fully understood what that type of training involved without any pressure or judgment. What stood out most was her integrity. When I expressed interest in pursuing training without a shock collar, Alyssa was open and thoughtful about exploring alternatives. She was also transparent about her area of specialization and made sure I was guided toward the best possible option for my dog, even if that meant referring me elsewhere.
