  Some of the nicest employees. Very polite and knowledgeable about their products. Great customer service and a pleasure to shop their. I personally appreciate how helpful and curious they were. 100% recommend this place and I well be back. Got some fish and two dog sweaters

  I went to Vetco in Kernersville because they were running a special for free office visit for new clients. I booked my appointment online. However, I was charged $80 for the free initial exam. I called the store when I realized this error and was told that I had to be a member to receive free initial exam. This is not what the website said. I was also told that they wouldn't do anything for me to correct this error. I would be extremely careful doing business with Vetco/Petco because they are not honest and will not correct errors made. Do NOT fall for any specials offered. I only went in for 2 vaccines.

  I’ll never wish today’s experience on my worst enemy. Refusing service to my dog for an injury that didn’t even exist and an issue with a matting around his ears that I was able to correct before I was even able to get home caused me to lose my cool more than I have in years. The unprofessionalism and the disregard I faced today felt way deeper than just someone being overly cautious because they are corporate store. I felt like I was being discriminated against and I do not appreciate any aspect of what I’ve dealt with today. I wish only the best to anyone brave enough to trust them with their animals. The only thing I can ever offer is an apology for the terrible words I said to the employees for following rules that are ridiculous but again they’re attitude felt dismissive more than empathetic in any way so that is also what a heavy grain of salt because I’m salty.

  I brought my dog to come get fully groomed a few weeks ago. The haircut was uneven but it was a new groomer for her so I was understanding to that. She came again for a bath but when dropping her off she was extremely petrified, and started shaking & trembling when she realize where she was going. ( a major red flag ) she was completely traumatized from the last time. Fast forward to leaving the groomer , She ended up popping with tapeworms in it. I moved to a new state & haven’t been around any animals let alone we’ve never had this issue before & from a vets word, it takes 2-3 weeks for something like this to show in the poop. So that only suggests she came into some type of contact with a contaminated animal or feces while at the groomer.. after the first visit she DID NOT smelled clean whatsoever & after the second she barely did even with the upgraded items.. Which has never been an issue at any other Petco. I’d suggest that you guys do a thorough cleaning of the stations & kennels because now this is going to cost me a few hundred dollars because this place is clearly unsanitary.. This is insane , completely disappointing.

  Great experience all around! The customer service was excellent — I had a defective item and brought it back in, and they replaced it with no hassle at all. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My dogs absolutely love visiting Petco and always enjoy the treats! 🐾❤️
