We saw Dr. Drummer today for a wellness check and vaccines for our dog Pearla. The technician and Dr. Drummer were both kind and attentive to Pearla and answered all our questions and concerns. They were patient with Pearla and although she is sometimes skittish she found them to be new friends. When your dog fully trusts the technician or vet to follow them off even after shots you know you found a good practice. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Everyone I came in contact with here was so nice and caring as we all learn together about a small stray I found, at her first wellness visit!

Go anywhere else. Predatory pricing and advertising. My sister handled an emergency with my dog while i was out of town. They called me and accused my sister of running off and stealing services while she was outside letting my dog use the bathroom. She was being treated for her UTI and frequently urinating. They never checked before calling me in a panic. Never apologized for their error with my sister. Her UTI did not clear up with the antibiotics given. Banfield is MUCH better with affordable care plans. They actually cleared her UTI.

Website is inaccurate and incredibly misleading. We have a cat with a chronic skin condition and were looking for a dermatologist while on the wait list to see Animal Allergy and Ear. This place popped up with an entire page dedicated to their “dermatologist in greensboro” so we booked. Then while working with the vet tech we learn they don’t offer dermatology at all outside of your absolute basics. They said our primary vet has done most everything they would be able to do. The team in person is nice and were helpful in trying to find us an actual dermatologist without a 6 month wait period. It was a waste of our time, the vets time, and our money coming here for something they don’t even offer.

Since they insist on refuting, I’ll add an edit (12/6): I left with the same antibiotic he had been on after expressing deep concern that it would do nothing, and the reason we didn’t have history on hand is bc he had been to an emergency clinic in a different state, and I gave them the dates and medication to which they still insisted the existing treatment would be best. (It wasn’t for a lack of communication on my part.) The kitten is still sick. They have done absolutely no follow up for the wellness appt. I will be taking him to our regular vet despite them being further away. I am also not inflating their prices (they gave me a full receipt listing the medication provided and the future stool testing). —————————————— Original review 11/15: We visited this past Thursday, and after thinking it over and worrying about our 3-month-old kitten, I feel genuinely obligated to warn others about this office. First: I told them the kitten I brought in had already completed a full round of antibiotics with *no* improvement. *They* suggested it could be feline herpesvirus, which is a viral infection, yet they still insisted on prescribing a second 14-day round of antibiotics, the same treatment that had already failed. No antiviral options were offered, and when I questioned it, they insisted we could just revisit it in two weeks. It’s now day three after our visit, and the kitten’s eye is so much worse and his breathing is unchanged. If they had acted on the diagnosis they themselves proposed, we’d likely be seeing improvement with his eye. And recommending a follow-up more than 10 days out when this kitten has been sick for over a month??? Second: The pricing structure here is outrageous. The appointment alone is $90, and they tack on a fee for every single thing they can. A typical vet would proactively treat for worms in a kitten with a firm, round belly—an extremely common issue. Instead, they pushed an $80+ stool sample. They suspected mites but refused to treat without yet another paid test. While they finally gave an antibiotic for conjunctivitis without requiring a corneal stain, it felt like I fought tooth and nail for even that. Overall, it’s important to know this vet prioritizes profit at every turn. Yes, I did push them to honor their current $25 new-client appointment offer since we haven’t had any pets there since 2018, which I know pissed them off, but my frustration is not about their reluctance to extend the discount. It’s about a pattern of greed overshadowing patient care. Our dogs haven’t been back for this exact reason, and after this experience, our new kitten will be going elsewhere for future care. Just hoping that if we do attend the follow up, that there is a shift because I’ve already dropped $221 (that’s without the $80 stool testing), I will need to refill the antibiotic in order to do the prescribed 14-days (which at their office is another $55 — when it’s $30 elsewhere), I will need to pay for a follow up appointment, and Lord knows, this likely is viral which will lead to additional tests and medication. Not to mention, I will still need to get him a deworming treatment, possible mite treatment and other common “new kitten” procedures elsewhere. It’s just ridiculous.
