I am grateful for the staff and Dr's here. At a horrible time, when I had to put down my dieing cat, they were all there supportive, caring and not as expensive. Thank you

I have never been happier with customer care than I was leaving this facility today. The staff (Justin, Wheeler, Beverly, Rose, Dr. Muse….EVERY PERSON!!) was phenomenal. In our moment of need, they were beyond there. They were patient, caring, and it felt like a family inside this facility. Thank you so much for what you did for our Simba!! We will forever sing your praises!!

Our dog Cooper was here for 3 days from heat stroke. Most of the staff were great however finding out three days in and 12k dollars later that they were not equipped to care for our dog was disheartening. It’s easy to google what to expect when a dog has heat stroke as it’s easy to google the treatment. A vet should be well aware of what could happen and what the dog needs and I believe they were aware. Why did you not refer me two days ago to North Carolina State? I feel once my dog was stable and before his organs started to decline would have been appropriate time to discuss sending him to a level 1 facility that could have offered my baby what he needed in a timely manner. Today the vet seemed like all she wanted to do was get us to sign the papers and say goodbye to our dog. No hope at all however after putting our dog down, I have read up on his illness and he had a 60% chance of turning it around at North Carolina state vet. I regret taking her advice. If your animal is in critical care, transfer them to a facility that can provide the care. When cooper was moving around and standing would have been a good time to transfer him. Had she not been so doom and gloom and spoke an ounce of hope we would have invested the 18k or more in proper care. You couldn’t put a price on my Cooper At the least, then I could say I’ve done all I could. Time is of the essence. Make sure you don’t waste anyone else’s time or money when you know another vets office has the facility to provide adequate help.

Everyone was very polite, respectful and well informed. Took my dog in to have a growth removed from her tongue. They did a great job explaining everything before the operation and outlining what it would cost. When I picked my dog up they provided a detailed list of recovery instructions, medications needed and even listed what time they gave her medicine.

This was one of the most cold and upsetting experiences I’ve ever had with a veterinarian. When we explained that we could not afford $900 for blood work or $3,000–$4,000 for a one-day stay, the vet, Dr. Hollifield, responded, verbatim: “I don’t care about your finances.” That statement alone should tell you everything you need to know about how this clinic treats people. There was no empathy, no effort to discuss alternatives, and no attempt to work with us during an already emotional situation. Instead, we felt immediately pushed toward euthanasia, as if cost was the only factor that mattered to them—not our pet, and certainly not us. If you’re looking for a vet who shows compassion, communicates respectfully, or understands that not everyone can afford thousands of dollars on the spot, this is not the place.
