We are so impressed with the progress our puppy made in such a short time during Board and Train! Maggie is an amazing trainer, we are still in awe at how much she was able to accomplish during two short weeks! Our puppy is still his playful, lovable self but now he has much better manners and no longer hurts my back to walk him! This was 100% worth the money!!!

I sent my 2 1/2 year-old golden doodle Bailey to a one week boarding train program with Maggie of Off leash canine training. Belly needed a lot of behavior modification, and I only wish I had enrolled him in the two week program with Maggie. That being said his issues with leash pulling and jumping have greatly improved. When he returned home, he was much calmer and better at following my instructions, Maggie kept me updated daily with messages and videos. She was also very patient not just with Bailey but with me and giving me the tools I needed to continue his training at home.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Maggie! She was kind, patient, and so loving with our dog, yet incredibly effective in her training. Our puppy, Rosie, learned so much — walks are now enjoyable and stress-free! What really stood out was how Maggie didn’t just train Rosie; she also took the time to teach us how to maintain and build on those skills. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Denise with Off Leash K9 was amazing! She had great energy and communication. We are very happy with the results of our working dog. She taught him all the basics and gave us very detailed instructions on how to be successful.
In addition, there has been continued contact and communication as questions have come up. You can tell that Denise truly cares for the dogs she trains like her own.
Before our vet recommended OLK9, I want to share what a walk with our 10-month-old rescue pup was like. At 80 pounds he barked and lunged at everything — people, dogs, birds, bikes — nothing failed to trigger him. Treats and toys didn’t help, and on more than one occasion he nearly pulled me to the ground.
Fast forward to now, and the progress our dog has made is unbelievable. We just finished our turnover session and he WALKED THROUGH LOWE’S. You know, the hardware store with all the animatronics and endless distractions. He didn’t lunge, bark or pull me. He walked in a heel with a few minor corrections and showed us just how hard he’s worked over the past 2 weeks. I was in complete dismay but so so proud of him.
I’ll admit, I was extremely skeptical about board and train programs. I had heard plenty of horror stories, and it took a lot for me to feel comfortable trusting someone else with our dog. But after long, reassuring conversations with Denise and Diana, I started to feel hopeful.
That hope turned into trust after Denise sent us our first video. In it, she’s out in the yard building rapport with him through play and you hear her excitedly say, “that’s a good mans!.” It was then that I realized she truly cared for our dog as much as we do. From then on, each video — whether it was a playful moment or a more formal training progression— showed the patience, care, and skill Denise brought to every situation.
What impressed me most was how adaptable Denise was. When our dog didn’t respond well to one tool, she switched to another that better suited him instead of forcing one approach. She adjusted to his needs and explained everything we were seeing in her updates.
We know training is an ongoing journey, but thanks to OLK9 and Denise, we finally have a solid foundation. Most importantly, we feel confident moving forward with our pup — something I couldn’t have imagined before this program. I can’t recommend OLK9, Denise, and Diana enough. They didn’t just train our dog — they gave us hope, tools, and confidence for the future.
