  Wonderful practice! The staff is thorough and kind. They take care of cats, dogs and exotic animals such as birds, ferrets, bunnies, geckos, bearded dragons. I wouldn’t take my sweet cat anywhere else. I love Dr. Lail!!

  Providence Animal Hospital truly deserves five stars. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff showed compassion, professionalism, and genuine care—not just for my pet, but for me as well. A very special thank you to Dr. Ericka Lail. She was incredibly kind and gentle with my girl, Monkey, my hedgehog, and I’m so grateful for her honesty and transparency about my fuzzy baby’s condition. Even though we didn’t receive the news we were hoping for, Dr. Lail took the time to answer every single question I had with patience and understanding. What meant the most to me was that the hospital never once pushed euthanasia. Instead, they respected my wishes and allowed me to bring my girl home so our family could say goodbye in our own way. That level of compassion is something I will never forget. Truly a wonderful staff and an exceptional experience during a very difficult time. Thank you all for your kindness. 🦔

  Unfortunately l, I cannot recommend this vet to anyone and would encourage finding another vet. We had been clients for years, then today..we were turned away because they “are not an emergency clinic and need to find another place to go”. We called during businsss hours and were just a few blocks away—on their OWN WEBSITE….it says to bring your pets to them in case of an emergency during business hours. It was obvious they iuat wanted to go home on a Friday afternoon.

  This animal hospital took the best care of my chicken Laverne. She was attacked by a hawk, and we determined that she is going to make it hopefully with some pain medication and anti-antibiotics. I was lucky. They were super good with her, and the bird was very comfortable in their care other than when we were treating her wound. I highly recommend this veterinarian for birds. She looks sad in the photograph because she is in pain. She has a bit of an infection and an eye injury, but she’s not gonna be blind from it. She just is sad and pitiful. Hopefully she’ll turn around once the meds kick in.

  I have never been, so I don't know anything about them. What I do know is that when I search "Waxhaw Animal Hospital" I get a link for their page with that name as the link. Notice how it is sponsored... so paid for. (sponsored hit on left, actual company on right) The ACTUAL Waxhaw Animal Hospital where my dog goes is not a sponsored hit. So, good on this company for trying to use another company's name to their benefit and paying for the right to do so. Kind of a slimeball move. I don't like doing business with ethically questionable people. RESPONSE TO OWNER: What is there to discuss? You did something ethically questionable and I called you on it. And now you want to discuss? Hard pass. Passing this along to WAH to see if they have any legal recourse.
