  After getting the run around for days on my dogs test results.. I had to have them cancel it and promptly took him to an actual veterinary hospital. Same test was done same day. The real issue the brought me to a review was the customer service. The phone number brings you to a representative that’s not in the office and really doesn’t serve much of a purpose other than wasting your time. They have no legitimate knowledge of the hospital or clinic. On top of that my appointment was cancelled 3x before I was able to get my dog in for his appointment. The receptionist took 30 mins trying to apply a coupon! Had to get help with it. That should just be standard knowledge. We went just for shots and he needed a further test for lymes. 24 hours resulted in several days of waiting and it was still pending. No phone calls back as I was promised. I ended up going to a different vet and got it completed promptly. After I canceled the testing and was told I HAD to come in person to get the refund. I went, and the refund could have been processed without me even being there!! This should have been known and said to me. I had to drive 30 mins out of my way there. They really don’t know what they’re doing, which concerns me if they’re taking care of our pets. Choose a different Petco. This one is just BAD. The last one I went to (NY) was fantastic.

  I bought a 7 month old cockatiel about a week or 2 ago from the arboretum store in Matthews NC. The ladies who helped me get him, and that cared for him in the store were absolutely amazing. The younger girl (I wish I could remember names) knew everything about him and he was obviously comfortable with her. She had him singing and doing little bobs of recognition but did mention he's still working on not being afraid of hands. It's so worth a shout out! Our birdie is now after only 2 weeks, fully happy on our shoulders. Begs for head scratches. And already plays with more sophisticated bird toys correctly such as the basketball goal. You don't always have a good experience raising a pet store bird, but this experience has been great and totally stress free. Good job Petco on taking care of "eggs benedict" now Zazu. He's quite the confident boy today! And he was put on a membership to get discounts on new stuff so he is all decked out in his new cage at home

  Unqualified doctors who cannot find a chip in a dog. They injected a second chip into my dog ​​without asking my permission and consent and made me pay for it. Of course I paid and did not want to make it public, but now they do not accept my dog ​​for grooming because they are not satisfied with the vaccine that is in the dog's current passport and that the government adopted when accepting a dog from another country. They force me to do another vaccine, which can harm my pet. This is not a normal company policy and the staff is extremely ignorant.
