    Did not have a good experience. Was told to bring all paperwork on dog with us. We gave our paperwork to the receptionist as soon as we got there. After waiting 45 minutes and getting ready to be seen, we were told we were missing the rabies info. As we tried to locate it we were then quizzed by the vet as to whether we were NC residents. When we told him we were not, we got a lecture on the laws of NC on dog vaccines. We have two Cavaliers that are our highest priority. Our dogs are always up to date, we had a mishap with finding the info. The vet was rude and condescending, especially after he asked if we were residents of nc. The only good thing is we left as we felt very uncomfortable at this point and we were very relieved that we did not let this vet handle our sweet dog Finnley. On to Boone to find a good vet!

    Wonderful small-town vet with friendly helpful staff. Dr.Knowles is knowledgeable and straightforward. He will be honest with you about options and best treatment approaches. In-house dentistry. Small food shop. Reasonable costs.

    My 5 year old corgi had something wrong with here eye. It was not major but it was closed when she got up in the mornings. Call to get appointment at noon following day. Arrived on time was informed that they were running late and would I mind waitting. Sure I'll wait. At 1:15 vet tech comes outside and looks at my dog and said I needed vaccination records. This was not the first time I had my dog there. Fine I call VIP petcare and have them email them to clinic. Vet informs me that dogs are supposed to wear rabies tags at all times..Records arrive all vaccines are current, continue to wait, receptionist informs me that we need to reschedule because the doctor has left. No explanation, not professional.

    Got daughter's dog in same day for diarrhea and vomiting, quickly diagnosed and meds given. Great prices.
