South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (SAVES), previously known as Upstate Vet, Asheville, is proud to announce our new name and the opening of our hospital expansion. Our emergency and specialty hospital remains located in Gerber Village and offers state-of-the-art veterinary medical services with board certified specialists in anesthesiology and pain management, critical care, internal medicine, neurology & neurosurgery, medical oncology, ophthalmology, and surgery (soft tissue, orthopedic, minimally invasive).
SAVES is proud to be an accredited referral center by the American Animal Hospital Association. We voluntarily undertake AAHA’s stringent accreditation process because we hold ourselves to a higher standard. This helps pet owners trust that their pet is receiving care at a hospital that’s demonstrated mastery of excellence in veterinary care.
