  We are so happy with the groomers at this store. They do an excellent job and our dog loves his groomer, Laura. I highly recommend them.

  if i could leave 0 stars i would. i went into the store today to pick up some things for my cats and decided to look at the animals. the fish tanks were absolutely disgusting. dead fish in almost all of the tanks and 3 towers were completely down because of sick fish. the cups for the beta fish were severely underfilled with water. there were too many hamsters in each enclosure and they did not have the proper set up that they need. the reptile enclosures were filled with waste and most of them did not have proper hides. not a single one was at the proper humidity either. some animals didn’t even have any water. they sell hermit crabs with painted shells which are deathly toxic to them. there was also way too many of them in one enclosure. as someone who used to be an animal care manager, this is sick and cruel to the animals. i don’t care how busy you are doing other things at the store, there is no excuse to neglect the animals. they deserve better than what the employees at this store are offering them. petco as a whole should be shut down for their horrible practices. if customers saw what goes on behind the scenes with vendors, i don’t think anyone would be able to shop here anymore. absolutely disgusting.

  Staff are extremely rude. A boy named Wes at check out must have been having day, but I had my hands full in line. He didn’t greet me. He didn’t ask me for my membership, he just pointed to the pin pad. I spent over a hundred dollars and he did not even bag the cans of food in my cart. He did not tell me my total. He just stood there. I asked him his name and he replied “Wes”. I told Wes I guess I’ll bag it myself and had to reach over the counter to grab a bag myself. I am appalled that anyone would let this kid on the floor working with customers. After I left and tried calling the supervisor on duty, the guy who answered huffed when I asked to speak to manager. I will never step a foot in that building after this experience and hearing the terrible experiences from other members in the community. Inspired to shop local.

  Laura, Kim, and the whole grooming team always take good care of Idgie for her grooming needs! She always smells so good and is super happy to see them!
