As soon as we found out Dr. Johnson was starting her own practice, we knew we wanted to follow her and we haven’t regretted it for a second. Dr. Johnson is just one of those vets you instantly trust. She’s warm, attentive, and you can truly see how much she loves the animals and her job. She takes her time, listens, and makes you feel like your pet genuinely matters, because to her, they do. The whole staff has been amazing as well; friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Their pricing is very reasonable too, which just makes everything even better. It’s absolutely worth the drive to Vaughn for the level of care you get. We’re so thankful for High Plains Vet — our pets are in the best hands. 🐾🤍
- DGDeb GruelFeb 11, 20265.0My dog Rhoda is 16+ years old and fell off the bed and couldn't walk on her rear left leg I called my regular Vet that I have done business with for 20+ years and was advised that I couldn't get an appointment until the following month. The blessing of this is they suggested I call Great Plains to see if they could see her sooner. I had an appointment within 24 hours. The business is clean and bright. The employees, front desk, tech and Dr Johnson are even brighter. So pleasant, caring, understanding who could ask for more. Dr Johnson got on the floor with my pup and was so gentle and thorough. When we were done with the appointment, it got even brighter The bill with three prescriptions was less expensive than an office appointment with my previous Vet. I have a new Vet. Angles do walk amongst us and they are at Great Plains Veterinary Clinic. Thank you

- KLkathy leeJan 13, 20265.0We have a mini schnauzer. This was our first visit, as our vet. retired. I was very pleased to watch how Dr. Jessica Johnson examined Gizmo. She got right down on the floor with him and he was tickled to have her on his level so they could "talk". We will continue to go out to Vaughn for his care. Very impressed with the office, exam room and the ladies that work for her, as well as the whole office set up.
