  "I have been a long-time customer at this Petco, and I can say from years of experience that their products are always excellent and reliable. However, it’s the people who truly make this location special. ​Today was a particularly tough one—I had just come from a vet clinic with my dog, Gizmo, and after a $450 bill, I was feeling pretty stressed and short on funds. Alyssa and the rest of the team were absolute lifesavers. They stepped up to help me navigate exactly what I needed to keep Gizmo supported during her recovery. ​It is so rare to find a team that shows this much genuine compassion for both the pets and their owners. I’ve always trusted Petco for their high-quality supplies, but knowing they have my back during the hard times too means the world. Thank you, Alyssa and the Kalispell team, for being so kind and professional when it mattered most!" Anybody who reads this please wish my puppy a speedy recovery.

  Twice in the past 3 months I have purchased a pet cleaning product from this store, each time the bottle to to each product was not securely on, despite seeming like it was. After leaving the store, in the trunk of my car a large amount of liquid cleaner dumped out all over my car interior. I would get home to find my car interior soaked and now smelling, and that I had lost half of a bottle of $20 cleaner, $10 worth of product that I needed (nevermind the cost of cleaning the cleaned out of my interior carpet). Today I stopped in the store to chat with them about this, suggest they more carefully check bottles are closed, and most of all to ask them to replace the lost product. The assistant manager Brendan was shockingly unapologetic, he essentially said “it’s not my problem the bottles were sold open there’s nothing we can do about it” and then after I referenced the loss of $20 of product again, he said “what do you want me to do about it”. After pushing him repeatedly, he said “I can offer you 50% off a bottle” with so much immature attitude. The whole time he was smirking at me and speaking in a rude tone. I have been a long time customer here, but clearly this store has low standards in their employees. I walked out with no solution to the problem, and actually decided to not purchase all of the things I came in for that I usually get. This store wasted my time even stopping in and talking to them, and I still paid $20 for product that I didn’t get to use. I will also have to rent a carpet shampooer ($75) to get the strong cleaner smell out of the carpet in my trunk.

  The staff are kind but thy seam to not care about the reptiles I know about hot to tell if a beaded dragon is stres and one of the should sies of stress but thsi was a few months ago and went i went the tank sem way to small for the beard dragon one of them was like adult size and for an adult thau need like a 100 gallon tanke and it semm like a 10 or 20 gallo. One even for a kid size one that is still to small 😭😭😭

  Staff isn’t always very knowledgeable but I mean its not their fault. It is a huge corporation after all. I recommend trying to go to a family owned pet store as much as possible instead.
