Finally went up to the counter for a price check. Took longer than expected to find out the price only to be in sticker shock. After I put the item back, I found something comparable and the tag said 29.97, great that was 30 dollars cheaper. Went up to pay and the price rings up 49.99. I stated what the tag said and husband brought the tag to the cashier, first told me I have to be a member of some pet insurance for the price. Then she and someone else stated that the sale ended yesterday,BUT the tags were still up advertising the price, I declined to purchase on the grounds that they would not honor the stated price .. unorganized store, old tags. I think I will be taking a break from Petco.
