- JWJeremy WarrenFeb 17, 20261.0Everytime I buy fish from this Petco they last about two day and die. It is so sad to see these fish ok one minute and gone the next. I have bought fish from PetSmart and Just fish and don't have a problem. I have all my tanks tested and they are perfect. I believe if they would just take the time and clean their tanks it would not be that big of a shock to them when someone brings them home to a clean tested tank. They have tanks that is so nasty I know for a fact that the water will test bad. I also would say it is poor management for them not making sure the tanks are clean. To the left side of the freshwater the tanks have some much slush on the rocks and plants that you would have to do a 100% change and then try to clean the plants to see if you can save them but I don't believe that will happen.
