Our Dog has been a patient since birth. The Staff is great and we've never had a problem with getting a timely appointment.

I have had my pets in the banfield program for about 12 years now. They give good care, my issue with Banfield is they try to up sell you with medications and things that aren't always needed. I took my baby Aspen in about 4 months ago, her enzymes where very high and she is loosing weight fast. The did every test in the book just to tell me they dont see anything wrong. So I just called with an emergency, my baby hasn't been able to keep food down in two days, and she's not drinking. I just called the Wentzville banfield to be told they could get her in next Tuesday, that's 4 days away. Not sure Aspen will make it that long and they wouldn't move her up even knowing my situation. I then call the St. Charles location that I have always had decent luck with, they are closed due to short staff? So if my dog passes in the next day or two they will be out of a banield contract and it doesnt seem they really care, even after knowing our situation. I'm calling now to cancel a membership I have have for far to long. Find yourself a small town vet that actually cares about your pets and gives thorough exams and wants to help. Banfield isn’t horrible but lack in many ways. Edit: I was able to make an appointment at the O'Fallon Banfield Sunday at opening 8:30. When I got there, their Vet tech was great and quick, to let me know my Aspen was on borrowed time 😥. I was referred to the VSS West where my baby passed on January 4th at 12:45. When I called their headquarters to cancel my banfield membership, I was told because I used my benefits (blood work) trying to fing out if she had cancer that I owed them. I started to give her my info when I became enraged. I told this gal I won't and will never pay this bill, she instantly shouted off with after 90 days this will go to your collections, is there anything else I can do for you? There have been many years she didnt have to have any extra work done, but when she actually i need of the care this is how they deal with your pets passing. No compassion at all NONE. Edit 2: I feel as consumers or in this case paid members, we all need to be honest and share our experiences. Having said that I'm going to leave my experience on the internet .........however I wanna say that Banfield saved face and called me right after my last edit, they we're sorry for my loss and erased my remaining bill. Thank you Banfield for doing the right thing and giving me a callback. They didn't have to do this.

Everyone at Banfield has been amazing with our cane corso the past 5 years. Dr. Seggerman went above and beyond the past month when our girl was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, taking time to respond to us and make sure we had what we needed even while she was on vacation. So grateful.

Banfield always treats our pets well. They're caring and skilled, for a reasonable price. Be sure to get the wellness plan to defray the costs of pet health care.
